SCORE’s mission is to equip student-athletes with the tools to strengthen their identity, build mental resilience, and optimize their mental and emotional recovery so they can perform at their highest level not only in sport, but in life.
Through structured programming and the SCORE Playbook, we help athletes translate the discipline, preparation, and accountability they develop through competition into life skills that support success in school, athletics, community, and their future.
By introducing athletes to practical systems for mindset, regulation and leadership, SCORE ensures that young competitors are prepared not only to perform — but to sustain their performance and grow beyond the game.
We envision a generation of athletes defined not solely by performance, but by character, resilience, and leadership.
Athletes who understand that peak performance is built not only through training, but through intentional recovery, mental clarity, and disciplined preparation.
Athletes who do not lose their identity in the sport they play, but are strengthened by the discipline, integrity, and purpose it cultivates within them. Athletes who are equipped to navigate pressure, injury, transition, and life beyond sport with resilience and clarity.
SCORE exists to help athletes build the mindset, recovery systems, and leadership skills that allow them to carry the lessons of sport into lifelong impact.

After retiring from the NFL due to injury, Jermaine Kelly Jr. experienced firsthand how quickly the game can change.
As a 2018 seventh-round draft pick of the Houston Texans and later a member of the San Francisco 49ers, football had shaped his identity for years. When that chapter closed, he was forced to confront a deeper question: Who am I beyond the game?
In that transition, Jermaine realized something transformative. The discipline, hard work, mental resilience, preparation, and faith that carried him through his athletic career were never just tools for performance — they were life skills. The same mental fortitude that prepared him for competition became the foundation that carried him through uncertainty, reinvention, and growth.
For Jermaine, the mission had always been simple: scoring points and not giving any up. Whether on the football field, basketball court, or in any competitive arena, the goal was to execute with excellence. But over time, he recognized that “scoring” meant more than putting points on a scoreboard — it meant capitalizing on opportunities in every area of life.
SCORE was created to teach student-athletes how to build a structured game plan for life. Just as they study opponents, identify possible vulnerabilities within themselves, and execute strategies on game day; athletes can apply that same intentionality to their identity, leadership, and future. Student-athletes are often defined by what they do rather than who they are. Jermaine knows they are far more than the sport they play — but many lack the framework and confidence to break out of that box.
Through SCORE, athletes learn to strengthen their character, build mental resilience, and develop the leadership skills necessary to thrive long after the final whistle. The goal is not just to score in sport — but to score in life.
Because winning isn’t only about great defense. It’s about building an intentional offensive strategy for the future you are called to create.
